"Sandy beach, and more sandier than Sai Wan Beach. However, you will need to hike up (1hr) a pretty steep hill, and it’s pretty difficult in the hot weather. But the scenery is pretty as you are descending the hill as you can see the entire ham tin beach. The beach is prettier than Sai Wan Beach. My advice is just be prepared for the hike."
