What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the breathtaking panoramic views from Jardine's Lookout, often comparing it favorably to other popular viewpoints. The hike is described as moderate and rewarding, with the added intrigue of a historical WW2 observation post. However, some find transportation to and from the trailhead challenging and expensive, and recommend carrying ample light for sunset descents.
"Starting at Happy Valley tram station walk straight up Sing Woo Road and Blue Pool Road taking a left turn on Tai Hang Road. Then after Marymount Primary school cross the road, follow the steps up and keep going until you have great views!"

"Beautiful hike. I visited both the Peak and Jardine’s Lookout, and this one was hands down the better experience. The hike is easy to moderate, though the elevation can be challenging for some. I stayed at the top until sunset and hiked down in the dark, which is doable, but I wish I had brought a stronger light. I was able to brisk walk down in the dark in approximately 15-20 mins.
However, transportation to Jardine’s Lookout can be a bit tricky. I highly recommend researching bus times in advance. While I managed to take a public bus to the trailhead, getting back into the city was a challenge. I ended up taking an Uber, which was really expensive."
