Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise PMQ for its vibrant collection of local designer shops and its revitalized heritage architecture. It's a popular spot for finding unique gifts and experiencing Hong Kong's creative pulse. Some note the uphill walk from Central MTR and occasional empty stalls, but overall, it's considered a worthwhile cultural and shopping destination.

"This place was amazing. There are so many creative artists here and so many shops to explore! We spent 2+h here and had so much fun. The garden is also pretty cosy and there’s a nice coffee place around here. Perfect for getting some souvenirs and spending some money. Also is an art exhibition going on right now which is really interesting, it’s on printing Chinese words with stone blocks. Overall amazing place."

Keagan Liu

"A great creative hub worth visiting.
PMQ is an interesting and vibrant space with lots of independent designers, creative shops, and small studios to explore. It’s well laid out, easy to wander around, and has a relaxed, artistic atmosphere.

One thing to note is that if you’re coming from Central Station, there are some fairly steep stairs to get up to PMQ. Those visiting with children, prams, or anyone with mobility concerns may find it much easier to arrive by taxi instead.

Overall, a nice place to spend an hour or two, especially if you’re interested in design, local creativity, and unique souvenirs."

David Chan

"I loved this place. Some beautiful locally made finds. Lovely artists in resident to chat with. A great idea to convert previous married police quarters into artists space."
