What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the breathtaking panoramic views offered by various Twin Peaks trails, from urban cityscapes to expansive mountain vistas. The seasonal wildflowers in Utah are a major highlight, and the challenging yet rewarding nature of the hikes is frequently mentioned. Some find the steep ascents and rocky terrain demanding, and weather can be unpredictable, with wind and fog being common factors.
"Violet Hill
The height to the top of Violet Hill Peak is 426 M and the whole Trail is a circular path of about 2.8Km beginning and ending at the same spot- 7, Tai Tam Rd. The whole trail covers the Tze Lo Lan Shan path to the Wilson country Trail. It is quite a strenuous walk including many upward/downward steps
The whole trail takes about 4 hours for an average middle aged man.
The effort is worthwhile, apart from the exercise the hike provides, it also provides stunning views of the Tai Tam Reservoirs and HK coastlines and the wild flower in season such as the Bell flowers in Feb-March every year.

"Walked from Wan Chai to Repulse Bay via Violet Hill. Stunning views and beautiful walk but not for the faint hearted!! Endless steps and hills so you do need to be fit!"
James
"A great trail for your furry friends. You can do a short loop or go further down to the reservoir or Repulse Bay. If you’re feeling really energetic, do Violet Hill and the Twins but be prepared for the 1000 steps!"
