"The station is undergoing renovation works at the moment thus does not look very welcoming.
The lady at the international ticket desk was very nice and helpful in getting tickets to Zagreb (also for interrail reservation).
Luggage lockers are available at Budapest Déli station in front of the ticket booths. You can pay only in Forint (HUF) coins. No credit card accepted, no Euros accepted. ATMs are available in the station but charge high fees for foreign credit cards."

"Deli pályaudvar is one of the main train station in Budapest, you can take trains to Southern part of Hungary, like Szekesfehervar, Györ, beautiful lakes Tata and the biggest one, Balaton. You can reach by Metro 2 or busses like 21/221 from Szell kalman ter, or 139, 140, 39 and/or 102 busses. You can buy ticket from the ticket shop or from the machines. Trains are usually on time. Have safe travels."
