What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Gozsdu Courtyard is celebrated for its incredibly vibrant atmosphere, especially at night, offering a vast array of bars and restaurants. Visitors love the lively energy, the variety of entertainment, and the weekend markets. However, some find it can get overwhelmingly crowded and noisy, particularly on weekend evenings.
"No homeless people around, as someone mentioned—maybe around midnight, but earlier in the evening the area is completely fine. The neighborhood is fantastic, full of character, with countless restaurants and bars that are tempting to try. It’s perfect to visit with kids until the evening, after which it turns into a lively party scene with drinks, food, fun, and even some adult entertainment 🤣. I felt completely safe (didn’t stay past midnight, so not sure what happens later 😜). In the morning, it’s ideal for breakfast. The area has restaurants, karaoke, gaming machines, and clubs, all adding up to an amazing, vibrant atmosphere."

"The food was tasty – I had the Philly steak sandwich, which was enjoyable, though the presentation could have been a bit more special. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and quick to help, which made the visit pleasant overall. One downside was that they didn’t allow a simple glass of tap water, and the chef seemed a bit irritated when we asked for no salt on the chips, which felt unnecessary. On the positive side, the plum beer was excellent, with a generous size and fair price that really stood out. All in all, a decent spot with good flavors, but with a few small details that could make the experience even better."

"Great spot if you enjoy being in the heart of the city and close to nightlife. Plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, and public transport makes it easy to reach other attractions. Can get a bit lively at night, but that’s part of the charm."
