It's often highlighted as a peaceful escape and a romantic spot, offering a unique glimpse into the city's Ottoman past. Some note the steep climb required to reach the site.
"Enchanting tiered little garden with benches to rest on as it is a bit of a climb, but not so bad at all. Beautiful rose bushes and other plants and a beautiful vista on the top level. With a pretty cool water feature on the top tier, too and plenty of shade there. Free entrance"

"Lovely exhibition on Turkish culture and history. The gardens around the Tomb are filled with flowers from spring to autumn. You have to walk up a steep hill to reach it, but the view says it all. Arriving a kind old gentlemen greeted us and told us about the Tomb and its surroundings (he speasks good Hungarian, English and Turkish as well). The museum has a little cafe where you can taste authentic Turkish coffee and delights. Also a little gift shop that sells rose scented goods. Certainly worth a visit if you travel around its free and it takes just about an hour or two."

"A little bit of Istanbul atmosphere. Nice rose garden with the Turkish türbe (tomb) of Gül Baba, a medieval dervish. Great view of that part of the city"
