Visitors praise the stunning neo-Renaissance architecture and the beautiful rose garden surrounding the House of the Hungarian Millennium. The magical evening light installations are a highlight, creating a dreamy atmosphere. While the exhibition space is noted as small, its affordability and the charm of the cafe are appreciated. However, some guests have encountered issues with service fees being misrepresented.
"wanted to visit this place for a while, ordered salmon tartar which was amazing, the service was good too
BUT
Something strange happened at the end.
So I was with my friend and we were speaking in Russian, I guess the waiter thought we are tourists despite the fact that both of us live here and can understand Hungarian
When it was time to pay, I chose the card option and at the terminal there was an option to add a tip. I asked - so the service fee is not included? The waiter said NO.
The same moment I checked the bill I saw there was a service fee added to the bill at the en, so basically the waiter just lied :)
I was disappointed with this, so please be careful and always check the bill"

"The exhibit space itself is quite tiny, which was a bummer, but I felt completely okay with it as it was so affordable to attend. The beauty of the building itself is awesome. The cafe was cute! Staff were friendly at the information desk. The landscaping around the building was also pretty."

"This beautiful building, which was built in 1885 for the National General Exhibition, serves today as a cultural community space with an exhibition hall and a café/restaurant. There is also a rose garden in front of the main entrance and the building is surrounded by walkways, mature trees and well-manicured green spaces, which are all part of City Park. We did not get a chance to enter the building and will have to save that for another trip to Budapest."
