The invisible exhibition, one of the experiences that touched me a lot, 1hour in the dark, seeing nothing, just using all my other senses to figure out things around me. In the beginning, I felt like I don't want to do anything, its dark 😥, but then somehow I got curious and enjoyed whatever came my way. I often take things for granted just like anybody else, and don't realise how numbing an illn...

Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Invisible Exhibition Budapest for its profound impact and unique sensory experience. Many highlight the empathy gained and the appreciation for everyday abilities. Some find the darkness initially disorienting, and a few mention the price point as a consideration, but the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many calling it a must-do in Budapest.

"It is such an interesting experience to see what blind people come across on a daily basis. You visit a few different rooms which set up as different scenarios like a livingroom, cafe, streets...ect. Mike our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny at the same time. There's lockers for your belongings as you cannot take anything in and there's also toilets on the premises. I'd highly recommend checking it out when you're in Budapest."

Fedra Dunn

"I highly recommend this exhibition if you are visiting Budapest. We went with a small group where the majority did not speak any Hungarian. You can have an English speaking guide for 500 HUF extra per person. The adult ticket costs 2100 HUF. Coming to this exhibition was one of the best decisions we have made. Our guide Juli (Julie) was more than amazing! Such a beautiful young lady inside and out with great sense of humour. She made our experience unforgettable. Before going in to the dark, she taught us about the Braille system and we could all have a go at trying to write down our names. Before going in we had to put our belongings to a locker (this includes handbags, glasses and anything that can shine a light-for instance our phones).
We were throughly explained how to walk in the dark and was told to let her know if we are having any trouble. There are several rooms in which the guide is always coming with us, talking to us, helping us and explaining to us what are the things we need to find our look out for. There is a living room, a street, a hunting house with a forest, a “museum” with sculptures and a bar at ty end where you can buy some snacks and drinks with coins (also in the dark). During our time we could ask her any questions, she did her best to answer as honestly as she could. We were in the dark for over an hour. It was such a special exhibition!"
