What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Mini Polisz offers a unique role-playing experience for children with highly praised, attentive staff. However, visitors frequently criticize the limited and unhealthy food options, strict rules for younger children, and occasional issues with pricing transparency and capacity management.
"It was a great experience for my daughter, and the team was absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and professional. However, there are still not that many options available, which slightly limits the overall experience. With a few more choices, it could be even better. Despite this, we still enjoyed our time and appreciate the effort of the staff."

"An amazing place for children to have a wonderful day, BUT…the food…if it deserves that name…s a disgrace!
For a place that offers entertainment for children then to offer only sugar products or white bread is unbelievable!
So bring your own food and drinks and you’ll be good.
But this food thing has me outraged. This is something from the previous century to think that you can give sugar to children as the only option."

"We read the good reviews and decided to visit. However, upon entering, we were served by a very rude lady who didn’t speak English and just pointed to a price list… where the daily entrance fee was higher than the one shown on their website. When I tried to communicate in English, a man intervened and explained that today was a public holiday in Hungary. I told him that it’s October 28th and that no national holiday appears online. He then said it was a school holiday. I checked again and couldn’t find any information about that. I believe it would be more honest to post online the dates they consider holidays that justify higher prices.
Additionally, they wanted to charge me 2,000 forints to use a storage locker, and they gave one slot per child — if we needed more, we would have to buy extra ones, on top of the entrance fee.
I do not recommend this place to tourists, as there is clear overcharging and rude behavior.
Answer to the owner: The guy was indeed kind, incredibly rude is the oldest woman that is behind the desk.
How do you expect a tourist know the Hungarian school holidays? Just mention them with an asterisk in your site, it is not difficult. When the woman requested the 2000 deposit for the locker did not mention that is refundable, you know I mean the rude one."

The Concept of Mini Polisz
This concept allows children to experience 'real life' scenarios in a safe and controlled environment. They can learn about the responsibilities and tasks associated with different careers, encouraging them to think about their own future aspirations. The interactive nature of the exhibits means children are actively participating rather than passively observing.
While the core concept is widely praised, some visitors have noted that the variety of professions available could be expanded to offer an even richer experience. However, the attentive staff play a crucial role in enhancing the immersive quality of the visit, guiding the children and making the role-playing more engaging.
Navigating Visitor Experiences and Feedback
However, several recurring issues detract from the overall experience for some. The food options are a major point of contention, with many reviewers describing them as limited to sugary items and white bread, leading to strong recommendations to bring outside food. Additionally, some visitors have found the rules regarding toy handling to be overly strict, particularly for parents of very young children, creating a less relaxed atmosphere.
Capacity management is another area for improvement. Visitors have reported being turned away due to the venue being full, highlighting a need for better online booking systems or clearer communication about peak times. Price discrepancies, especially on holidays, and the handling of locker deposits have also been mentioned as points of frustration for some tourists.
