What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Pesti Vigadó is highly praised for its stunning architecture and its role as a premier classical concert venue, having hosted legendary musicians. Visitors appreciate the rich history and the engaging art exhibitions, particularly the poster collections. While the building itself is a major draw, checking event schedules and booking tickets in advance is crucial for a complete experience.
"One of the most underrated buildings in Budapest, tourists clearly haven't discovered it yet. Beautifully renovated interior, with magnificent view to Buda! You can get tickets on the spot for 3000 Ft, Hungarian Guided tour is 3500, English Guided tour is 5500 HUF. Hungarian guide Badacsony Anna is very nice and knowledgeable, strongly recommended!"

"A complete miss for us. We visited the exhibitions and explored the building (combined ticket), but it was too little and the exhibitions design was not great. The building is gorgeous, it's too bad that when visiting the concert hall, You don't get to feel the experience of being at a concert, even the one musician. The ticket check at each point was redontent and annoying (just give the one option for the ticket, and cancel the ticket checker personal, hire one musician instead and let them play in the concert hall, while people going in and out or give the space to music students). Too bad."

"A hidden gem in Budapest!
Fully renovated concert hall!
It's not expensive to visit the building. Around 2 500HUF. It's worth it if you enjoy the Hungarian style and taste!
Helpful staff and not crowded! I was"
