What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find Rába Quelle Thermal Bath to be a modern, clean, and well-maintained facility with friendly staff and a good variety of pools for all ages. However, some concerns have been raised regarding the wristband loading communication, slippery floors, and the quality/variety of food offerings. The seasonal opening of the outdoor park also impacts the perceived value for some.
"We recently visited this place and had a wonderful experience overall. The location is fantastic, and we greatly appreciated all the attention and care. Every staff member was kind and smiling. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and new. However, we'd like to offer a few suggestions for improvement:
- At the reception, tickets are sold without informing visitors that they must load money onto their wristbands for purchases. Many of us only realized this while at the pool or bar, leading to frustration as we had to step away to resolve the issue.
Please train your receptionists to handle tickets and wristband balances simultaneously.
- The stools at the pool bar are worn out, with missing protective layers and exposed screws that can hurt. These should be fixed promptly.
- The wooden niches at the bar should never be empty. Filling them with chips, bottles, or other items would enhance the atmosphere.
- The bar needs lively music to energize the space and encourage consumption. Consider adding speakers or a TV showcasing Hungarian dances or landscapes to promote this beautiful country.
- The bathrooms and showers for men and women are too close to each other, with open access near the lockers. This compromises privacy and safety—an issue that should be addressed.
- The food offering could be more complete, with a broader selection of vegetables and fruits.
- The large park area is sadly deteriorated and submerged in sludge. While we understand this area is closed and only opens in summer starting June, the cost of the ticket feels high for what's currently available.
We hope to return and see some of these suggestions implemented.
Thank you for your attention!"

"We visited the aqua park today without high expectations, since we had read some negative reviews.
However, we were pleasantly surprised! There weren’t many people, even though it was a Saturday. The staff spoke very good English and were extremely kind and helpful.
If you come with a stroller, you can bring it inside the aqua park, which is really convenient. While there aren’t many barrier-free entrances, the elevators work perfectly fine 👌.
There are plenty of pools both for little kids and for older ones, so everyone can enjoy themselves.
Overall, it was a very nice experience for us 👌 We really can’t complain 🙏🏽"

"Not my first visit here, so I knew what to expect. Staff Is friendly and helpful, ticket price reasonable. But, water full of black and green algae, it is little bit disgusting. It Is very slippy everywhere be careful, it is a lot more than in other spa. What is a weak part is the catering, nobody wants to swim after eating meal full of fat. My perkelt was So greasy the vegetables as well, goulash soup was quite ok. Considering that I have paid more than for the entry, very low quality. Nowadays people want also something healty not just fries and schnitzel. I had to return the meal. Overall it Is good spa and once the outside area is open it will be great for kids."
