What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Szeleta Park Visitor Centre is highly praised as a family-friendly destination, particularly for its extensive and engaging playgrounds. While the museum offers a good overview, the play areas are the main draw. Customer service experiences are noted as being mixed.
"Great place to spend an hour. The exhibition gives a good overview about the geological, natural and antropological features of the region. New and modern facility with 3D movie area."
Zsolt Harkai
"Probably most kind, and engaged staff in all places we've been. Smiled and professional, patient and caring!
The place itself:
It's a museum (17 exhibits, some interactive, some displayed, some in a form of 3d movie). Around 45 minutes of content.
In the building you will also find a playground in a form of a cave formations. It's bigger than you think, and it will entertain kids for at least 1h, when you can sit down in coffee next to the place.
Lastly, there is outdoors playing area, with mostly wooden toys - very safe and well thought. Ground level trampolines, zip line and climbing ropes.
Amazing place, must see if you are in Miszkolc with kids."
Sir Gocell (Jake)
"It would be amazing place for children to play, but the customer service is terrible! The woman inside the playground with the bored face. When we left we didnt get even one bye. Smile we cannot even expect here. Bar was closed.
It was terrible experience with these employees."
