"Nice looking building and plenty of car parking to stop and see if you can spot the president lol. We went early morning as we were heading into town, had a quick walk around then got back into our car. President’s Audi then came out the gate and drove past us, if we had been a few minutes later going back to car may have gotten a selfie with him! Maybe next time. Church steps were being renovated when we visited (Nov2024)so no access but I imagine it will be completed soon"

"Beautiful residence with an amazing and rich history. We were fortunate to have president Jóhannesson give us a tour and touch on some of the past. This was originally an official Danish office, then a school, then the Presidents official residence. If you can visit please do.
It was refreshing to see a leader and a country without the need for stifling security. Shows a well managed system!"
