Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the knowledgeable and friendly guides who prioritize safety and enhance the experience with geological insights. The surreal beauty of the ice caves and the vastness of the glaciers are frequently highlighted as unforgettable moments. Some note that tours can be pricey, and ice cave accessibility is seasonal.

"Excellent experience! Our guide, Christina, was very knowledgeable, safely conscious and so enthusiastic, she was a fantastic guide! She showed us all sorts of really cool formations, and a big crevasse in the ice that led to a small cave which was amazing, then we all got to climb an ice wall, challenging but so fun. We only had 8 in our group which was great, compared to some other groups we saw that had way more people. It was well organized, clear instructions on the meeting location and good communication by the company. It was well worth it, a great adventure !"

Tracey Dayton

"We had an amazing glacier hike with Guillermo from Glacier Adventure! He was incredibly patient — never rushed us when we stopped to take photos, and always encouraged us to relax and enjoy the experience, even during breaks on the glacier.

Guillermo was also extremely professional. He helped adjust my backpack for better comfort, taught us how to properly fasten our crampons, and guided us step by step on how to walk safely on the ice — even checking that we were doing it correctly. His knowledge of the landscape and geology was outstanding; he explained everything we saw in a clear and engaging way.

On top of that, he was super cheerful and friendly throughout the tour, which made the entire hike fun and never boring.
Highly recommended — if you’re in Iceland, definitely book a glacier tour with Glacier Adventure, and ask for Guillermo if you can!"

"We did the glacier walk tour with Glacier Adventure and it was incredible! Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and had a great sense of humor—he really made the experience. Walking on the glacier was surreal and magical, and knowing how quickly these glaciers are receding made it feel even more like a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Glacier Adventure made the tour feel personal and special from start to finish. Highly recommend!"
