"We loved Gunnar and our kayak on ice experience. He’s so down to earth and just led us on a beautiful ride. We got all the cover layer we needed provided to us, and even got to stop and pet the beautiful Icelandic horses! For those who love to kayak and love natural beauty and non-touristy attractions, this is a winner! Nearby restaurant had great food too! And a lovely shop with local handmade gift items was the icing on the cake. Finally, bring a bathing suit and towel to swim in the nearby pool. We didn’t but wish we had!"

"Robinson Crusoe
I took my 2 boys (ages 13 w/ a disability and 15) kayaking on a beautiful lake and winding water ways. It was a lot of fun. The owner was really nice and helpful. He recognized a possible need for a rope to connect my son's Kayak to mine in case he got tired or slow and it came in handy! It was a fun and new challenge for us to get through the narrow waterways. We saw lots of birds and were able to go at our own pace. It was a great experience for our family."
