What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Durgabari Tea Estate for its stunningly beautiful, expansive tea plantations and the unique opportunity to tour the factory without prior booking. The scenic beauty makes it a perfect spot for relaxation and photoshoots, with many appreciating the fresh air and the chance to buy local tea. However, the ban on picnics and the lack of extensive dining options are noted drawbacks.
"Excellent tea estates spread across several acres around the villages and man is building new houses and fly overs now by removing the plantations at many places. As of oct 25th tea leaves are combination of mature dark green and fresh yellow green which is nice to walk along the passages and feel the beauty of cool and fresh air on a hot humid day.Happy to go inside the factory and see the semi automatic process of wet leaves grinding to paste, manual drying and efficient machine dry before moving to powder and finally into the package bags.Though I visited several tea estates across several places, this one I like very much as they are allowing visitors inside the factory without any pre conditions."
