What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise ISKCON Temple Ahmedabad for its beautiful and peaceful spiritual ambiance, highlighting the stunning deity idols and intricate artwork. The well-maintained premises, devotional atmosphere, and delicious satvik food at Govinda's restaurant are frequently mentioned positives. However, the temple can become extremely crowded during festivals, which may detract from the serene experience for some.
"Such a beautiful and peaceful place. The temple is huge and so well maintained. Radha Krishna, Govardhan Giriraj, and Ram Darbar murtis are all stunning. The middle canopy with Krishna’s paintings is so intricate and eye-catching — you can’t stop looking at it. The moment you enter, the walls are full of Krishna paintings and it just sets a divine vibe. Aartis are very blissful and calming.
They serve khichdi as prasad and lovingly insist everyone should have it. On Ekadashi, they have fasting prasad too. There’s a proper arrangement for keeping footwear.
Only thing is it gets extremely crowded during festivals, so better to go on a normal day if you want some quiet time. Feel so calm and positive every time I visit."

"ISKCON Temple in Ahmedabad is a beautiful and peaceful spiritual destination that offers a divine escape from the busy city life. Dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radha, the temple is known for its magnificent architecture, clean premises, and deeply devotional atmosphere.
The temple’s serene environment, soothing bhajans, and regular aartis create a truly uplifting experience for every visitor. The idols are beautifully adorned, and the entire complex is well-organized and maintained with care.
There’s also a Govinda’s restaurant inside serving delicious satvik (pure vegetarian) food, along with a bookshop offering spiritual literature and souvenirs.
Whether you are a devotee or a tourist, a visit to ISKCON Ahmedabad is spiritually refreshing and fulfilling."

"As in all ISKCON temples in metropolitan cities, this one too has the air of grandeur to it.
However, it is much more devotee-friendly than most other ISKCONs I've visited. It's located quite far from Ahmedabad City centre, but easily accessible. I guess it will be easier to reach, once all the Metro lines start functioning."
