Reviews Summary
Alibaug Beach offers a lively atmosphere with water sports and a unique black sand shoreline, complemented by the historical Kolaba Fort. While not ideal for swimming due to muddy waters, it's a good spot for adventure and scenic strolls. Visitors appreciate the convenience of parking and the availability of local snacks, though some find the vendors pushy and the beach cleanliness could be improved.
"It’s a beautiful beach, very close to the Alibag fort. I’m monsoon, fort is accessible only at low tide. When we went water was receding, we could go on a horse cart which was a wonderful experience. The fort itself had a charm of its own. Surrounded with water it has some canons, a lot of greenery. Very picturesque.
Govt. should maintain it better and promote tourism to this place."

"Visited Alibaug Beach recently — it was super crowded but lively. There are plenty of water sports like paragliding, water scooter rides, and even camel rides along the shore. Prices were pretty reasonable; we tried the water scooter for ₹200 and it was fun! You can also take a short boat ride from the beach to Kolaba Fort, which sits right in the middle of the sea — looks beautiful surrounded by water on all sides."
