"I recently visited Gabbar Hill near Ambaji and was deeply moved by its spiritual historicity and stunning natural beauty. Situated about 400–480 m above sea level, the hill is considered a sacred Shakti Peeth where the heart of Goddess Sati is believed to have fallen.

There are two ways to ascend—by climbing roughly 999 traditional steps or by taking the ropeway. I chose the ropeway: a smooth 2–3-minute ride that offered panoramic views of the serene Aravalli ranges.

At the summit is a peaceful temple housing a perpetually burning holy lamp facing the main Ambaji Yantra—visible from the valley below. During the climb, you’re accompanied by ancient pipal trees and mythic rock imprints, adding to the divine atmosphere.

A few tips:

* Best visited on weekdays or off-season to avoid large crowds
* Book ropeway tickets early to skip lines
* Wear comfortable shoes, especially if you plan to walk
* Carry water and avoid peak sun hours
