Places to stay in South Goa ?
Hey reddit, I'll be visiting Goa in the last week of September with a friend and planning to stay in South Goa. Can you please let me know some good areas I should be looking for hotels? Looking for peace and quiet and easy beach access. Any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks
Resort recommendation request
Planning to travel to Goa with family (spouse and 8yo daughter) last week of July. Any resort recommendations? Preferably beach side and 4+ stars. And, in a somewhat happening locality / beach so that we can do some activities as well. Donβt intend to travel much.
π§Ί Picnic Perfect
Pack a picnic to fully enjoy the serene atmosphere and limited dining options.
π Shell Collecting
Look for beautiful seashells and starfish washed ashore, especially during low tide.

"Very nice Beach π few people visits on Mon-Fri but Sat-Sun is more crowd"

"Barely 5 people in the beach on a Tuesday. It's like the entire beach is yours. There's also a lifeguard at the beach. Star fish cafe in the beach has showering facility after swimming in the beach. They also have changing area, which aren't rooms but provide some cover. They provide sun bed but you have to get some drinks. It's a decent cafe. There's no other cafe here. The cafe had a lot of dogs, even sleeping under the sunbeds π€. But harmless ones. If you want to use the restroom, while the cafe has it too, there's a 5 star resort barely 300 metes away. Go there and use it. By the way check the mama miso restaurant at that resort. It's lovely. Don't tell friends and make it into another crowded beach ππ½."

"Like the beach in every way except the cleanliness and some amenities. The best thing is it's not a crowded beach. You can relax, dip your feet in the sea or have a dip yourself keeping safety in mind. Enjoyed the sea breeze on a windy day. A good place to picnic, spend a day with the family and friends and relax."
