Ulsoor lake. Good morning Bengaluru!
there used to be boating here 3000 years ago, fun times..
Where is this place is Bengaluru? Yesterday i saw this when watching Baangalore days(2014).
This is Ulsoor lake. No boating allowed for civilians as it’s under the control of military right now. You will see army men rowing around in the lake occasionally. There is a nice, fenced walking area around the lake where vehicles and bicycles are not allowed.

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ulsoor Lake is cherished as a peaceful green oasis in Bangalore, praised for its tranquil atmosphere, scenic beauty, and opportunities for walks and boating. While some visitors note that maintenance could be improved and bird sightings might be less frequent than expected, it remains a beloved spot for relaxation and enjoying nature within the city.
"Ulsoor Lake is one of the oldest and most well-known lakes in Bangalore. It is a large lake with small islands, and it offers a peaceful escape from the busy city life. The surroundings are green and quiet, making it a perfect place for morning walks, light jogging, or simply sitting and enjoying the cool breeze. Many people come here to spend time with family, friends, or even alone to relax and think. You can often see birds flying or sitting by the lake, and their sounds add to the calm feeling of the place. Boating is sometimes available, which is fun for kids and adults. There are benches to sit on, and the lake looks especially beautiful during sunrise and sunset, when the sky reflects on the water. Though the area could use a bit more maintenance in some parts, it still stays clean and safe for visitors. Ulsoor Lake is also close to temples and busy roads, but once you're near the water, it feels like a completely different world—quiet, natural, and refreshing. It’s a nice spot for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful moment in the middle of the city."

"A calm and peaceful spot in the city, great for a walk or just to sit and relax. The lake is nice, but there aren’t as many birds compared to BTM or Agara Lake. Maintenance could be better—some benches are broken, and two-wheeler parking is a hassle. Still, a decent place to unwind if you're in the area."
