What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the trek to Bangoru Waterfall challenging and risky but ultimately satisfying. While the waterfall itself is considered average by some, the adventurous journey through nature, including stream crossings and rock climbing, is the main draw. Hiring a local guide is highly recommended for safety and navigation, though interactions with some locals can be mixed.
"The trek to the waterfall is really difficult, dangerous but so satisfying at the end. There are proper rock climbing vibes at couple of places. Was skeptical when the guide stopped us in the middle of the road and said without guide it is difficult, but glad we did it. They ask money per person. Not a fixed a rate. No comments on that, since we were a group of just two. The waterfall as it is just okay. Not that mighty or wonderfully great. Just a normal waterfall. But i think the experience to have here is the trek to it and sense of completion upon reaching waterfall and would definitely recommend it."

"Nature is Beautiful, so does the Waterfall.
But, on my way from the Waterfall, Near rocks of Gunehar Waterfall 2 guys probably guides.
Asked me "Bhaiya kaha takk jaake aaye" I replied till Waterfall.
To which they both conversed with each other in local language by belittling me that I can't go up till there my own, and I must be telling them about Gunehar Waterfall only & not the Bangoru Waterfall.
And some things more.
Meanwhile I didn't let them know that I'm also local to the district and very well understand what they said and how they said.
After listening to them I didn't said a word because I knew if I did, they'll just further ruin my experience.
And for a while during descend this things kept running in my head, how they ruined my beautiful experience."
