What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Earth Yoga Village is celebrated for its deeply transformative yoga teacher training and its commitment to conscious, eco-friendly living. Guests rave about the delicious vegan food, the supportive community, and the serene natural environment. While the accommodations are simple and not luxurious, they are comfortable and integrated with nature. Some guests have encountered minor issues with humidity and mold, but the village staff are consistently praised for their prompt and helpful responses.
"Earth Yoga Village is an eco-friendly village with beautiful huts. It’s very simple—not luxurious in the traditional sense. Many might say it’s not luxurious at all, but for me, it was more than enough. I was lucky to have the option of a private room, which turned out to be a great decision.
Earth Yoga Village is located near two beaches: Patnem and Palolem. I can recommend Patnem because it was much quieter, where Palolem was busier with more people. On the way there, you’ll find various markets, a coffee shop, and restaurants. The whole area is very peaceful and beautifully situated. And the sunsets are absolutely breathtaking.
I originally signed up for the Conscious Community living, but unfortunately, I was the only participant. Luckily, I was able to spontaneously switch to the Yoga Teacher Training, and everything went smoothly. Even during this decision-making process, they took a lot of time for me.
Due to environmental conditions, it was still damp when we arrived at the village. My training started at the beginning of November 2024, which is actually supposed to be after the official monsoon season. But as we all know, weather and climate can’t really be predicted. Since the houses and the entire yoga village are designed eco-friendly and close to nature, the humidity led to some mold developing on some of our belongings. Earth Yoga Village immediately took care of it. They took our things, offered to wash them themselves, and were very helpful throughout the process.
We were always able to talk to all the teachers, have conversations, ask questions and when you spend four weeks together, sharing and doing so many things, it’s natural that conflicts might arise. Earth Yoga Village always made an effort to be open and honest, and it was a very intense but also beautiful time. I made new friends and had a wonderful experience.
The wednesday evenings were my favorite were community work was in the centre. We did kirtan, cacao ceremonies, ecstatic dance or just going to the beach together.
The four-week course is, of course, very demanding—you’re in school six days a week with only Saturdays off. But because of that, time flies by. I would definitely recommend taking a few days after the training to let everything sink in, rather than going straight back home.
And omg before i forget: The food was amazing! Really nourishing and so delicious. Thanks a lot.
I would totally recommend EYV for any kind of yoga related activities :) like holidays or teacher trainings.
Thanks to Anand, Astrid, Jane, praveena, durgesh, the kitchen team and charlotte & victoria for making my time in EYV unforgettable :) 🖤 i wish everyone all the best and am very grateful for the experience.

The 200h Yoga Teacher Training was intense, transformative, and full of valuable knowledge – from yoga philosophy, anatomy, pranayama, kriyas to the art of teaching and proper alignment in yoga poses. You don’t just learn about yoga, you also discover so much about yourself.
The whole team is incredibly kind, supportive, and fully dedicated.
And the food – absolutely delicious! Vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free, and made with so much love.
I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and life-changing experience."

"I did the 200 hr RYT in March 2025. My experience was AWESOME. The village is so natural and beautiful. It’s is a great location, close the beach.
The food is delicious very tasty and wholesome
The teachers are incredible. I loved the yoga sessions. The yogi philosophy we learnt was so interesting, life changing.
The energy was vibrant and pure. We had a lot of fun in between classes, we danced and laughed and sang, You also have alot of silent time in the morning, to reflect and go on your inward journey.
The whole course is very well structured and balanced.
My experience was awesome. I have so many beautiful memories, lots of magical moments. I didn’t want to leave.
Im so happy I chose to do my RYT at Earth Yoga village and for all the beautiful souls I met along the way. I will be forever grateful to you all 💚
