What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and diverse offerings of Palolem Market, praising its unique handicrafts, beachwear, and street food. However, some find the parking situation challenging and note that prices require assertive bargaining. The market's proximity to the beautiful Palolem Beach adds to its appeal.
"Had a fantastic experience at this Goa beach market! The vibe was super chill, and the stalls were filled with unique souvenirs, local handicrafts, and delicious street food. Found some awesome beachwear and accessories too! Only thing that kept it from being 5 stars was the aggressive bargaining from some vendors. Overall, a must-visit for anyone looking for a authentic Goan experience!"

"Market like any other markets on goa beaches. Small yet meaningful and happening place. Beach is great. Surrounded by green mountains on two sides makes it a lagoon with u shape. Nice water. Cool activities. Don’t miss Juno’s gelato over there."

"This place is a long drive from everywhere except Palolem of course. The most expensive parking rates that we have seen across the places we have visited in India, were at this parking. While the beach is lovely, the parking issues can drive anyone nuts. The roads are narrow and while most folks are disciplined to allow 2 way traffic, some do like to overtake and cause unnecessary jams. In short, bring your patience along with your swimwear in case you are driving to this destination. The market is interesting and has a good variety to offer."
