What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Jatayu Earth's Center for its well-organized facilities, cleanliness, and the awe-inspiring world's largest bird sculpture. The scenic cable car ride and the spiritual ambiance of the temple are also highly appreciated. However, some find the ticket prices a bit high and the presentation of the Ramayana story to be diluted.
"One-of-a-kind place! Truly worth visiting.
The Jatayu sculpture is massive and a real piece of art.
However, a few improvements can make the experience much smoother:
• Ticketing system needs restructuring — more ticket counters are required, and there should be a proper waiting area downstairs as well or online tickets.
• AC in the waiting areas needs better cooling, especially considering the crowd and weather.
• Cable car safety can be improved. It should fully stop for tourists to get in and out; stepping off while it’s moving feels unsafe.
• Clear instructions should be displayed at the entrance so visitors know the rules beforehand, especially since food and water are not allowed inside.
• Refreshment counters need better cooling, more options, and water dispensers.
• Photos for purchase look overly edited or AI-generated; more natural edits or original prints, especially with the Jatayu structure in the background, would be much better.
• Souvenirs missing — fridge magnets or Jatayu-themed items would be great additions.
Overall, it’s a great experience with a lot of potential to become even better!"

I visited Jatayu Earth Center a year ago, and the experience still lingers in my memory. Nestled in Kerala’s rugged terrain, this destination is a stunning tribute to mythology, nature, and thoughtful infrastructure.

• Two separate tickets are required:• Entry to Jatayu sculpture area: Cash only, so carry enough.
• Cable car ride: Can be paid via card or UPI, which is convenient.
🗿 At the Summit
• The Jatayu sculpture is awe-inspiring—claimed to be the largest bird sculpture in the world, it’s a powerful visual homage to the legendary eagle from the Ramayana.
• There’s a serene Lord Rama temple on the top, and you can also see the footprint of Lord Rama, adding a spiritual dimension to the visit.
🌟 Final Thoughts
Jatayu Earth Center is more than just a tourist spot—it’s a place where mythology meets modern engineering. Whether you’re a nature lover, a spiritual seeker, or a curious traveler, this destination is absolutely worth visiting.

"Jatayu Earth Center is an amazing place to visit! The sculpture is massive and beautifully designed — you’ll truly be in awe when you see it up close. The view from the top is stunning, and the whole area feels peaceful and well-maintained.
Make sure to bring CASH
There are a few small temples on the top, including one with Lord Rama’s footsteps, which adds a nice spiritual touch. There’s also a small handicraft-style shop and a restaurant area where you can get food at reasonable prices while waiting for the cable car.
Even though the entry fee is on the higher side, the overall experience is totally worth it. A must-visit spot if you’re exploring this side of Kerala!"
