"A must-visit landmark in Chennai!
Madhya Kailash Temple offers a beautifully peaceful atmosphere amidst the city’s busy life. The impressive architecture, especially the unique Adhyantha Prabhu (half-Ganesha, half-Hanuman) idol, is truly one-of-a-kind. The temple is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming to devotees from all backgrounds. The daily ancestor worship rituals are meaningful and add to the temple’s spiritual charm. Convenient timings from 5:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM make it easy for early risers and evening visitors. Highly recommended for locals and tourists seeking a calming, spiritual experience in Chennai!"

"A beautiful big temple near IIT Chennai. Temple is in middle of a road junction.

Inside photography is not allowed.

Main deity is Shiva. A Perumal also have separate sanathi. Ambal alankar is very divine. Ganapati, Murugan, Bhairavar and other deities in separate sanathi.

Long before I have read this temple history. There is no any Sthalm puranam ( history) board.

Temple is managed by private trust. I asked for photography permission. They declined and told that permission required from committee.

Most devotees are VIPs I think."
