"Hollant Beach is one of the most peaceful and beautiful spots in South Goa. The beach itself is quiet, calm, and perfect for sitting alone, watching the gentle waves, and enjoying the sunrise. The water is shallow, the atmosphere is silent, and the whole place feels untouched compared to the crowded tourist beaches.
But the sad part is the side area near the rocks and trees. That part looks abandoned, and you can clearly see that people come there to drink. There are so many disposable glasses, plastic bottles, wrappers, and broken items lying around. All this waste makes the side area very dirty, and a lot of the plastic eventually washes into the sea, which spoils the beauty of the beach and harms the marine life.
If the local authorities or even visitors took a little responsibility, Hollant Beach could easily be one of the cleanest and most beautiful beaches in Goa."

Go early to catch the sunrise from the depths of the ocean on the horizon of this beautiful long beach.
The beach itself is filled with shells and small rocks but the view is amazing and the water is very calm compared to other beaches, no hard waves , no strong winds or tides, shallow waters suitable for beginners and families.

Biggest problem here is no restaurants or eateries nearby except for Copa Cabbana which opens at 10:30 am and stays open till night but it's a low end booze joint."
