"This is near Shankarpur beach. You can see a mesmerising view of all the big fishing boats here. There are a lot of abandoned fishing boats and also you can see the making of new boats here. Entry fee is around 20 rupees to this area. Also you can visit the beach very nearby."

"In our summer trip of beach area of West Bengal we found this place as a different place from other. This is not beach but a small harbour build on river Champa. This harbour entirely deal with only fishing. When I goes there, several number of launches has been anchored here. The fishermans were busy to repairing work of there launch. In this summer the season for fishing is started yet, it will be monsoon, so they are preparing themselves at that time. We sees no fish as it is not the fishing season but sees a lots of floating launches. All are newly painted and ready for the storm to embrace."
