"Had a wonderful experience visiting Kali Tiger reserve ! The entire safari was a scenic ride through lush, green forest with beautiful views all along the way. After driving through the forest, they take you to a spot (kind of like a clearing or a small parking area) at the base of a short hill. From there, you’ll need to do a small hike up the hill—don’t worry, there are stairs all the way, so it’s pretty manageable.and from there you get a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire forest spread below.
Wildlife sightings here are rare and purely based on luck, so don’t go with the expectation of definitely spotting animals. Instead, enjoy the beauty of the forest drive itself and treat any wildlife sighting as a bonus! We were lucky enough to spot a herd of wild buffaloes, a few birds, peacocks, and even a red squirrel.

"Staff is friendly and provides in depth details while you are on jungle safari they will give all knowledge by spotting different types of Animlas or birds etc. There is board that shows last seen or spotted animal/bird etc. Though you need to extremely lucky to spot tiger. Dandeli reserve forest spread across Approximately 1250 sq.km (thats what we heard), we also heard that our jungle safari ride went through 5 different tigers territory, as well as saw claw marks on tree which is one of the type of marking territory. overall its wonderful experience everyone must visit."

"We went on a trip to the Kali Tiger Reserve. It was scheduled at 5 am. Believe me it was late November and very very cold. There was complete darkness as we ventured through the dense jungles. It was scary. We finally started the Safari at 6 am in jeeps. As we ventured deep into the Reserve, expecting to encounter tigers, we were disappointed. We could only see a few Bison, a deer couple playfully munching on some grass. A brave peacock walking around vehicles. Then we finally arrived at a spot from where the whole of Dandeli could be seen. It was a View Point."
