"The sanctuary was closed when I visited, but the surrounding area was full of birdlife. I spotted and photographed several beautiful species just outside. "Great experience at Fudam bird sanctuary.
They provide you with a motor operated boat plus one person who maintains the boat and one person who guides you about the birds ..it's a 25 to 30 minutes ride..maximum 5 people ( apart from 2 staff) can occupy the boat and the ticket costs INR 500 , (payment by card ) ...they provide life jackets as well.
It shuts its operation from June till 15th of October and reopens generally on 16th October.
(Might differ due to monsoon )
