"Eco Park in Cherrapunji is one of the most peaceful and naturally beautiful places to visit in the region. Although it was foggy during our visit (which is common during the monsoon season), the atmosphere was still magical. The mist rolling over the hills created a dreamy, mystical vibe, and whenever the fog cleared, even for a moment, the views were absolutely breathtaking!
The park is maintained by the Meghalaya government and sits on a high plateau with panoramic views of the Green Canyons of Cherrapunji and the Bangladesh plains in the distance. It's also the origin point of the famous Seven Sisters Falls, which flow down the cliffs from the park’s edge.
There are neatly paved walkways, small bridges, and open grassy areas perfect for a relaxing stroll or a quiet picnic. Even if visibility is low due to fog, the fresh air, cool breeze, and peaceful surroundings make it totally worth a visit.
Highly recommend including Eco Park in your Cherrapunji itinerary—just be prepared for some fog if you're visiting during the monsoon!"
