The treks and steps are challenging but rewarding, offering a sense of accomplishment and deep connection with nature and faith. Some find the accessibility a bit difficult due to the trek or steps.
"Gaumukh is a beautiful place. It's a 750 meter trek up a rugged path from the parking (very small parking) to the top. Then it's about a 700 steps descent to the place where the main temple is. The entire path is breathtaking because its part of a green jungle. The steps are easy to navigate though some are quite big. There was nobody on our entire path, so we felt a little scared, but it was actually very safe. Definitely worth visiting if you are physically fit"

"The place is awesome. Great nature lover place. But it is to be noted that you have to walk 2 -3 km on a sloppy road. In earlier days there was a way to reach the place by vehicle. But now it is not possible."
