Reviews Summary

Tirthan Valley is lauded as a pristine natural paradise, offering unparalleled peace and breathtaking Himalayan scenery. Visitors rave about the serene Tirthan River, lush forests, and the genuine tranquility that sets it apart. However, the challenging road conditions leading to the valley are a recurring point of caution for travelers.

"This place is a true paradise for nature lovers. The only issue is reaching this place by road as the roads are very narrow and in bad shape. You get amazing places to stay and enjoy chai sitting next to the river. Check these photos to see by yourself."

Tapan Gupta

"Tirthan valley is gorgeous.
Still intact with nature preserved. The community (including business owners like homestay, cafe) take special initiatives to make sure conservation of nature is top most priority.

The valley offers charming sunsets and breezy evenings by the tirthan valley. While if your drive up to Sharchi, Pekhri, Bathad - breathtaking views of Himalayas will leave you mesmerised.

There are a lot of stays and cafe according to your budget and liking.

Rainy season is a great time if you are coming for an extremely relaxed holiday and don’t wish to travel much as the valley turns gorgeously green and a treat to eyes. (Make sure to check for advisory for the roads accessibility and safety).

Rest, sep - nov is quite pleasant.

Dec - feb is quite cold with snowfall experienced almost every year or every 2 years at least.

Mar - June are peak months with heavy tourist inflow.

It is within “the great Himalayan national park” and the community obeys by the rules of it like no loud music or littering.

Which makes it a peaceful, preserved valley with great views and peaceful vibes.

It’s a great place for couples and families as there are open space to explore, play games, or just relax.

Ps - the location is marked right at Sharchi, which is the last point of valley in one direction. Tirthan valley is about 15-18 kms before the tagged location.
You may put Gushaini, while navigating."

"Tirthan Valley is an incredibly peaceful and calm retreat, offering a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The natural beauty of the area is simply breathtaking, with lush landscapes and serene surroundings that truly rejuvenate the soul. However, be prepared for a challenging journey, as the road conditions leading to the valley are far from ideal, characterized by narrow stretches and numerous potholes. Despite the difficult drive, the tranquility and natural splendor of Tirthan Valley make it a worthwhile destination for those seeking an off-the-grid, serene experience."
