However, some note a lack of amenities like drinking water and toilets along the trekking path, which can be challenging for older visitors.

"Very beautiful and serene place. But the authority should arrage 1) Drinking water in the long trekking way from the gate to the ruins
2) Toilets
3) some resting places to seat
As, for the older peoples, its very essential."

"Stunning landscape views of Kanchenjunga and nearby other mountain ranges. Go towards the evening in the golden hours to see it the best! Nicely kept area, fresh air and calm vibes. Recommended to visit and spend some time here!"

Sujay Sreekumar

"This is a kilometer trek from the gate, maybe 1.1 km but not much more than that. The way to the ruins is mostly uphill but not too steep - shouldn't be a problem for anyone reasonably fit although you need to remain careful about the underfoot conditions. There's a stone pathway for walking but with rains and fallen leaves, parts could be slippery enough to twist an ankle at the very least!
The ruins are very well maintained and I saw a sign that washroom and drinking water facilities are available.
The trek itself is a delight through the woods, lovely, dark but not so deep - thoroughly enjoyable!
The view is excellent. This is a must visit spot!"
