"Visited on weekday in non peak season. Charges are fixed at 500 per person and kids ride free. Since we were in a non rush hour, there were only 4 people in the ride.
The ride itself is not so amazing, but the surroundings are. In monsoon, the whole canal gets flooded with 20-30 ft more water. They take you to a place in between the stones and bring you back. 1-2 temples come in the middle which you can look at from outside. No pooja there.
We met a couple of monkeys as well.
Best was asking for the oar and riding the boat. Real cardio happens and not everyone can get the rhythm of doing it.
