"Stayed here 10 years ago and went back for a nostalgic drink while on a second trip to Jaipur. Sadly, was told by a young lady that we couldn’t sit inside for a drink, nor could we sit anywhere else (cool) inside as they weren’t serving for another 50 minutes i.e. 12:30pm. We could however sit outside in the heat if we wished and where they would be happy to serve us. On declining and starting to walk away, she then suggested that we could in fact sit inside and be served in 10 to 15 minutes. Rather than waste our time at this inhospitable hotel, we went to the gorgeous Raj Palace hotel instead and had a wonderful lunch."
