"This is one of the most crowded stations of Rajasthan. Dirt is spread everywhere here. There is a need to focus on cleanliness here. Due to the low number of toilets, people urinate on the walls. Urine can be seen spread far and wide in the auto parking outside the station. The main station building is beautiful but the dirt on the outside makes it look dull."

A very important railway station in Rajasthan, an important junction which connects it to many cities across India. The station is has adapted to Solar powered technology. The station is beautiful, almost neat and clean.
If you are on the over-cross bridge, you get beautiful views of Mehrangarh fort and our national flag which is hoisted outside the station."

"Every time I visit any city in Rajasthan, it fills me with a strange joy and a deep sense of valour and sacrifice. This time, as I stepped off the train at Jodhpur railway station, I felt the same rush of happiness.

The platform was alive with vendors, porters, and passengers hurrying to their trains, while loudspeaker announcements echoed in the background. But unlike my earlier visits, this time heavy rains had turned the platform into a pool of water. People, instead of being troubled, were happily clicking selfies with their children.

I remembered my last visit, when the station was neat and well-maintained. Perhaps the authorities were unprepared for such rains in Jodhpur. Still, once outside the station, you can easily find taxis and auto-rickshaws to take you to the RSRTC bus stand or to 12-circle road, from where private buses connect you to other cities of Rajasthan.”"
