Walking down the narrow spiral staircase into the cool depth of the well is an experience in itself. The craftsmanship and the idea of storing water so smartly in those times is truly impressive. "This is one of the oldest and deepest step well in India located in Junagadh, Gujarat. Good place for photography lovers. It is 9(નવ) storey deeper downstairs. So, it is called navghan kuvo. If you step down the well, you will notice that the temperature of the atmosphere has been decreased drastically. You will find good spots for photography. There are many keyholes in which you will be able to find the nests of the birds. Overall nice experience to visit this place."
