"We went here on diwali day evening. Very calm nd peaceful temple. This Perumal was the first to appear in Kanchipuram. It was after him that Yadothakari Perumal and Varadar appeared. Once a year, during the Brahma festival, Varadar in the form of Mohini worshipped lord Deepaprakasar. This perumal should lit light, brightness, happiness in our life. Must visit temple. Infront of the temple swami desikan's temple also there. That one is Swami desikan's maligai which means house. He was lived there. Every year on the evening of Diwali, thousands of lamps are lit in this temple. Those who have time can go on Diwali. Otherwise, buy ghee or oil when going to the temple."
