"A very beautiful place in Kanjangad. Its an Ashram built by Swamy Nityananda. Very near to bus stand, railway station and Karpooreshwara temple (a Lord Shiva temple). Neat and clean. Well maintained. Lot of pilgrims and tourists are coming here. Inside the Ashram, you can see lot of caves. Photography is restricted here. Annadana (feast) in the noon is there for everybody. A bhojan shala (hall to have feast) is also there. Near that you can see a pond with different types of fishes. The caves are carved on a big stone hill. Above the stone hill, a temple is also there. A very good ambience. People are coming here and sit for hours for some peace of mind. Near this ashram, a pond with lot of lotus is there."

"Wonderful place to meditate n get positive vibes.
Swamy Nithyananda had created nearly 44 caves by himself on a rocky place at west of Kanhangad near old delapidated fort.
There is a Mahasati temple at entrance,a shaktideavata.
Swamiji was a siddhapurusha helped lots of underprivelged. There is life size idol on top of the caves ,a temple dedicated to him by his upasakas.
All items used by him are kept at a museum. At Mumbai Vajreshwari there's one more ashram dedicated to him.Mostly Mumbai hoteliers,Shetty' s of Mangalore area are the devotees.
During his life time he solved many of problems of people. He never used wear any cloth to cover his body except koupeena to cover his person...very fat...big tummy...very dark..childrrn used to get frightened.
From this place to Mumbai in minutes he used to shift himself from his cave sometimes to avoid wrong people who used to trouble him asking for Satka number.
Once travelling by train,TT asked for ticket, but he didnot have, asked to get down, but engine could not move for no reason, travellers alerted TT for his mistake.Swamiji was requested to board n reason being no reason, called TT took out tickets from brief n gave all original.TT still had doubts about its genuinity, checked at issuing statiom, alas all tickets shown by Swamiji were purchased at cashcounter.
There still many miracles happened
People say originally he is from Kasaragod, but due to people's trouble he settled at Kanhangad."
