A fantastic place to spend an hour or two soaking in the history of Thalassery. The fort is beautifully maintained by the ASI, with clean grounds and impressive architecture. The highlight is undoubtedly the panoramic view of the Arabian Sea from the ramparts and the lighthouse absolutely breathtaking. It's a peaceful spot, perfect for a quiet walk and some great photos. After independence this ancient monument is under Department of Archaeology. Fort is built with strong redstone. Need some maintenance."
