"This is a famous historical muslim masjid in Kerala.
It’s situated near in the kasargod town.walkable distance from kasargod railway station(below1km). Here famous for a tomb situated there, his name is MALIK DEENAR(R)."

Muhammad Murshid k

"Beautiful and historic mosque, believed to be one of the oldest in India, initially built by Malik Ibn Deenar in the 7th Century and renovated in 18th Century.

Now two new structures built on both sides for protection and space. Has separate prayer hall for ladies as well. Has the tomb of Malik Deenar.

Maintained well, the architecture with Kerala style roofs, carved wooden beams, marble and cushion floorings add to the charm.

People of all faith can visit, but maintain the sacred ambience, dress modestly and remove footwear before entering. Could see people sleeping/taking rest in main hall and chatting.

There’s enough parking space and seating area in the front. Drinking water, restrooms are also available."
