Parvati Valley is celebrated for its breathtaking natural beauty, with the gushing Parvati River and majestic mountains creating a heavenly atmosphere. Visitors love the peaceful riverside spots and the vibrant, laid-back culture. However, concerns about pollution and littering are frequently mentioned, detracting from the pristine environment.
"💥✨We visited Parvati Valley in peak December and it was an unforgettable experience! Surrounded by scenic mountains, cozy hotels, and vibrant nightlife, every moment felt magical. "Beautiful valley. We stayed in kasol for 4 days. Although parvati valley is beautiful but 1) it is being polluted by littering and garbage by the nearby tourists.
2) no proper drainage system hence all the sewage water from hotels and nearby houses flows into this river.
3) trees are cut for building new hotels
4) so much air and noise pollution due to cars 😒
5) the river stinks near the nature park maybe coz the restaurants leave their sewage. Idk
6) We visited in mid April 2025. Shopping could be awesome here with hemp products. A little trek could lead u to lesser littered places. Don't know who these people are who r throwing garbage in river or on the side of the road. Or is this garbage coming from the same hotels we r staying? Don't they have a dedicated dumping place outside the main village. Where the garbage could be treated in future. Filthy it has become. 😔"
