"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A Hidden Gem in Kerala!
Kavayi Islands is one of the most peaceful and scenic places I’ve visited in Kerala. The untouched beauty of the backwaters, surrounded by lush greenery and calm waters, makes it a perfect getaway if you’re looking to disconnect and unwind.
The boat ride through the islands was incredibly relaxing and offered breathtaking views of nature and local life. The area is still relatively unexplored, so it hasn’t been commercialized much — which adds to its charm.
Ideal for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone who enjoys serene vibes. I highly recommend visiting during sunrise or sunset for the best experience. Don’t forget to carry water and snacks as options around the islands are limited.
Truly a hidden gem — must-visit if you’re exploring the Malabar region! 🌿🚤🌅"

"What a beautiful experience!! Spellbound by the sheer beauty of the place. I had never experienced a mangrove before so was so happy that I could finally see one. The place is a Nature lover's dream.
It's an hour drive from Kannur city , but it's totally worth it. The ideal time to visit will be early morning or after 4 pm in afternoon. Upon reaching the kavvayi land area, One can catch a boat or raft on a ticket and visit there. It's just a 2 minute ride via boat. The boat anna was very helpful in boarding and deboarding as one needed help in unknown terrain. There was knee deep water near the mangrove. The boat anna helped us all in getting down and gave us a good fifteen minutes to enjoy. He even got many family pictures clicked. The view is breathtaking. My 6 year old had lot of fun in water. The water is safe , doesn't harbour any dangerous aquatic animals as my kid was afraid of. We had a wonderful experience as family.
It's a must go place to experience if you are in kannur, kerala. Do not miss it !! 100 percent recommended !!"
