Visitors love the scenic backwater views and the well-maintained historical building. While generally a fantastic experience, it can get crowded during peak Biennale weekends.
"Visited during the Kochi bienale.. Great venue besides the backwater. Great art works all over the place during the program. Good canteen. Enjoy tea and snacks with the great view of ships and boats passing by. Must visit place. Be advised though ferry service are less during Sundays so need to be prepared to wait for like 45 minutes average to get into ferry. Otherwise you can go around by road but will take like 45 minutes (20km) extra so it's your choice."

"A graceful building with wooden worked floors. Well setup and maintained. Do not forget to walk around to the shores where you can watch small ships sail through the backyard. It's a gift of God that anybody can enjoy the backwaters. Biennale is very famous world class cultural fest that happens in Kochi every 2 years. People who love art and other cultural activities cannot find another better place than this."
