"Wonderful place to learn about the classical and local art forms of Kerala. It is advisable to book tickets on their website in advance, so that you get premium seating. The artists begin their make up at around 5pm and the show starts at around 6.15 and lasts up to 7.
Kalari show begins at around 7.15 and ends at around 8.
Both the shows were great. It may not be as interesting to those who know nothing of the classical arts and Indian mythology, but it will definitely provide an insight into the art forms of Kerala."

"I attended a Kathikali traditional dance performance for the experience. The 2-hour show was divided into three parts: the first hour was dedicated to makeup, the next 30 minutes were spent demonstrating the meaning of the actions, and the final 30 minutes were the actual performance. The venue was nice, with air-conditioned .the theater is near Kochi Fort, and the ticket price was 600 rupees for the 2-hour show."

"The Kathakali performance is amazing. All the artists are extremely talented and know their craft really well. This is definitely a must watch show if you are in Kochi.
The Kalari Martial Arts performance is also unbelievable. That show is just 15 min after the Kathakali show. So both of them can be enjoyed together."
