What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Kokankada's spectacular concave cliff and breathtaking panoramic views, especially during sunrise and sunset. The unique upward fog phenomenon adds a magical touch. While the trek can be challenging, particularly in monsoon, the experience is widely considered unforgettable and highly recommended for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Some note the lack of network and electricity, emphasizing the need for preparedness.
"Reaching Kokan Kada was the highlight of our trek — truly, one of the best views I’ve ever experienced! The massive cliff, with it’s unique massive concave cliff that gives you surreal sense of scale and beauty. When we reach the top, there was gentle drizzle and cool breeze ,which made atmosphere even more magical.
There are camping options available at the top those who want to stay overnight and enjoy sunrise. Network connectivity is mostly unavailable, but I did catch Jio 5G signal for a few minutes, which was enough to send a message or post a quick update.
Important note : Though the trail from Paachnai is one of the easier route, it becomes risky during peak monsoon. Waterfalls turns heavy, and trails become slippery , so make sure to wear proper trekking shoes and carry essential like water and energy drinks.
If you are a nature lover or adventure seeker, Kokan Kada is a must-visit — just plan well and be cautious during the rainy season."

Many small hotels are present which provide tent and food. There is no network or electricity hence make sure to carry torches.
Try to reach before 6pm as fog starts to gather early here."
