"Buy Tickets from Counter. Booking tickets in advance is not necessary. The charges are Rs. 30 for Garden and Rs. 30 for Garden and Gallery. Parking charges are free for armed forced. For others its a Roadside parking.
Enjoy the stunning visuals in a breezy weather. Preferred time afternoon if it's a hot weather day. Have some 3-4 hours atleast to have a full view of the Victoria Memorial. Not recommended for someone planning to visit in 1-2 hours.
Public Holidays are usually crowded. Food items/plastic water bottles are not allowed inside the gallery area.
The Victoria Memorial is closed on Mondays, as well as on designated national holidays such as Republic Day, Independence Day, and Gandhi's Birthday. The memorial opens on Tuesdays and remains open until Sunday, with the ticket counter closing at 5:30 PM and the premises closing at 5:55 PM.
