"Perfect place for nature lovers. I visited during May with my family. Nature, Peaceful and Fresh are the words to describe it. If you're on a one day trip, head straight to the hill station, take a jeep safari (it's worth a shot) .Both adventurous and thrilling. The jeeps will cover all the view points. On your return visit the orange farm in the junction and have some homely meals there."

"My trip to Nelliyampathi was nothing short of an adventure! On the way, we stopped at Pothundi Dam, a huge and scenic spot. Though I got a bit tired walking around the whole dam area, it’s definitely a place kids would enjoy — wide open spaces and beautiful water views.

The real magic begins when you start the ride from Pothundi Dam to Nelliyampathi. The road cuts right through the forest, and the views along the way are breathtaking. You can spot the dam from different angles, waterfalls cascading along the roadside, playful monkeys, and scenic viewpoints — every turn makes the journey exciting.

We went for trekking at Nelliyampathi, and it was absolutely thrilling. The paths were steep and wild — honestly, there were moments I felt like we might fall! 😄 But the adventure and the panoramic views from the top made it all worth it. We were lucky enough to spot wild animals, including an elephant, which made the whole experience unforgettable.

If you're planning a trip to Nelliyampathi, don’t miss Pothundi Dam and definitely try trekking — it’s an adventure you’ll never forget."
